Overview
RGB Color Picker is designed so ordinary color calculations run in your browser. This policy explains what information the site itself may process and what can depend on the hosting environment.
Color values and tool usage
Color values entered into the picker are processed locally by client-side code. The site does not need to send those values to a server in order to calculate RGB, HEX, HSL, HSV, CMYK or contrast results.
Local storage
The tool may use your browser's local storage to remember a small list of recent HEX colors. That information stays in your browser unless you clear site data or use the tool's clear-history control.
Server and security logs
The web host or infrastructure provider may create standard technical logs when your browser requests site files. Such logs can include an IP address, request time, requested path, user-agent information and diagnostic data. Retention and handling depend on the hosting provider configured by the site operator.
Cookies and analytics
The production files provided for this website do not set analytics or advertising cookies. If the site operator later adds analytics, advertising or other third-party services, this policy should be updated to describe them before use.
Contact emails
If you contact the site by email, the information you include is used to read and respond to your message and may be retained as part of normal email correspondence.
Your choices
You can clear recent colors with the tool's “Clear recent” control or through your browser's site-data settings. You can also use a private browsing window if you do not want recent-color history retained between sessions.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised if the site's data practices or services change. Material changes should be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
